There are different types of CPFA membership available. Ranging from individual annual membership for group leaders, to lifetime group membership for those who wish to make long-term use of the CPFA's available knowledge.
Since 2004 the Big Lottery Fund has been responsible for distributing over £630 million a year to valuable causes all around Great Britain. The funds are primarily focused on health, education, environment and other charities.
The Big Lottery Fund's involvement in the CPFA has been essential to safeguarding the future of CPFAs across England providing for the first time a national development officer to promote good practice across the UK.
The new marketing and communications plan has given the CPFA movement a strong platform from which it can launch our new fresh approach whilst maintaining our traditional values. It is hoped that through a stronger coherence and support network that we can forge new partnerships with complementary and influential bodies. We will also be developing stronger linkages with businesses looking to achieve greater corporate social responsibility within the communities in which they sit.
Creating a national and regional support network for all individual CPFAs
Allowing all local CPFAs to communicate freely with each other in order to offer support and advice, share ideas and feel more secure as part of a team instead of disconnected and alone.
A campaign has been set up to monitor the activities of the CPFA, to see how effectively they work and to ensure that all donations received are maximised to extract greatest social payback.
